Very pleased with this product. It does the job for my Transit Connect. If you are not handy, I would recommend professional installation, but it's worth it. It is easy to tap into the rear backup lights, but not so easy to find a power source in the front of the vehicle. I ended up buying a cigarette lighter power adapter (e.g., CUZEC 12V Cigarette Lighter Power Adapter) for the front power. If you can solder all of the connections, so much the better. Once installed, this is a wonderful product. The image quality is just fine and the camera is responsive-coming on immediately when the vehicle is placed in reverse.

Did not come with any way to attach monitor to stand. Appeared that connector on back of monitor had been cut or broken off. I'll find a nut I can glue to the back of the monitor to make it work, but shouldn't have to do that. Also, advertising seemed to indicate, at least to me, that the wireless receiver and monitor could be plugged into a cigarette lighter or 12-V accessory plug, but if you want to do that, you need to buy a cigarette plug adapter and splice it to the wire leads.

System worked well on wireless. Only issue is the distance causes some minor interference between my camper back to the front cab of truck. Travel trailer is 34 feet plus about 9 feet of truck, interior of vehicle block, etc. It advertises for a little more distance than what I am asking it t to accomplish. Not sure of why I get the white lines. However, I can use it the product for backing up and travel down the road. Install was easy, plugged into trailer running lights.

I installed this on my 2008 Dodge Ram. I connected the power for the monitor to a key enabled 12v plug/cigarette lighter and the rear camera to my reverse light. I couldn't for the life of me understand why the yellow video wire has red power wires coming out each end. The diagram tells you to connect them each to a power source. I did this at first and once I started the car, the camera was constantly on. I disconnected them and it only turned on in reverse. Overall, this is great for the $$!

Like this product a lot! It's very helpful because I have a welding machine in the back of my truck and I can't see what's behind with my rear view mirror so I took it off and mounted the screen where the rear view mirror was and it looks great!
