I've owned this cocoa-latte maker for at least 12 years now and use it daily with no issues - it works flawlessly!
I've only used powdered cocoa mix (Godiva), but it'll mix syrup or melted chocolate just as well.
The dispenser has measurement marks in 4 oz. increments and detaches from the base, so it's easy to wash (just can't submerse in water due to the part that plugs into the base). The underside of the base has storage for the power cord.
Once the contents are mixed and heated to the right temperature, the process stops and will restart after a few minutes of being idle to remix & keep the contents heated until you turn it off.
You won't be disappointed in this cocoa maker - it's truly a gem!!
You can dispense with or without frothing.

UPDATE: I've now owned this appliance for 16 years, which has been used daily since I purchased in 2004 & it still works like a champ. Never has a single issue. The West Bend cocoa maker is very similar to this model, which I also own & have used a few times for large gatherings. this model was discontinued years ago, so check local resale & thrift shops & you may find one for a good price.

I have had mine for years and I love it. Easy to use & clean. Makes warm frothy drinks. Auto shut off once it is heated. Keep warm setting.
