Dewpoint matters!

Works great. People like to brag about our low humidity in San Diego. Dewpoint is a much better reading of humidity. And San Diego has a very high dewpoint right now.

Pros:

Cons:
- the screen is not backlit, you can't read it in the dark
I have a temperature indicator on the baby's monitor but the probe is in the camera. The temperature reflected in the monitor is far from the one in the crib, as the camera is up high, next to a window and air conditioner. I have a humidity/temp clock on his dresser but like to keep this one handy to double check and to check the other kids rooms.
I compared both the clock and this handheld device side by side: both had pretty much the same readings, which leads me to conclude they are both accurate.
While both read 73/74, my baby monitor was showing 83 !!! That's quite a diference.
While I kept the door open, both had temperature rising. I just wish the screen was backlit to see in the dark / at night. I will have to hold it near the nightlight to check.
