I'm reviewing a king size coverlet, not a full/queen as shown on my review in error. We bought this as a summer spread and it's a perfect weight and look. I'm one of the few to buy the beige and I was afraid it would be a little too much on the tan side, but it's not. It's very light beige, almost off-white, without a discernible yellow undertone. It's pretty close to the picture, perhaps even a bit lighter, depending on how bright the bedroom is. (If you are comparing this spread to the Madison Park Quebec Ivory one, there is a more yellow subtle undertone in the Madison Park, which I just purchased for winter.) The king is big enough to reach just below the boxspring on our king size bed, but does not hang to the floor. I knew this would be the case by measuring across the top of my bed and down both sides to the floor and comparing it to the spread width measurement. There is enough length to fold over the pillows at the head of the bed. The quilted leaf pattern is unique and beautiful.

I have a California King and it's been difficult to find a bedspread or comforter that is wide enough to cover the sides of the box spring . I do not like dust ruffles basically they are too difficult to take on & off wash/replace/repeat! I wanted a bedspread that would cover the entire bed and this one is much better than all the rest. The pictures I have included are to show the coverage. I do not make my bed by tucking the bedspread under the pillows and then pulling the bedspread over the top because it eats up too much bedspread. I tried to show in the pictures that I did not pull the bedspread all the way over the top of the pillows I left a little room and that is so I have the length at the foot of the bed. My mattress measures 12 inches and the box spring with the frame is almost 12 in measuring the mattress to the floor was 30 in. The pillow shams cover the top part of the bed well enough so I'm happy with that. Putting the pillow shams on was a little bit rough but I got through it. And even though I was struggling with the Shams no stitches were ripping. I do recommend putting the pillow in the side of the Sham that has the label first. I ordered black and it is not the darkest black it's a little bit lighter and I'm okay with that. As for the pattern it is very lovely it is not stitched , but a series of dots which is a lot better if you have pets that can rip out stitches. Recommended.

I have a queen sized bed but always get King sized quilts because queens just are too short.
I have a very thick mattress, 14" thick, on top of a box spring. I hate having to see my box spring so I have a dust ruffle. Well this quilt is so large that it actually rest on the ground.
My mom got a king cal king like I did at the same time for her king sized bed. She's so happy as well because it's the first time that she's actually had enough quilt without it being short on the sides.

Was pleasantly surprised when this arrived. Well made and good quality for the prize. Color and design were exactly as pictured.
