PLEASED AND COMFORTABLE

My order was delivered a day earlier than stated which was great. I opened it up and spread it out on the living room floor and started to do the assembly. Did real good til the last step and thought l had it figured out. I didn't but luckily my hubby got home and redid the last step I had gotten wrong. Now i can go outside sit in my chair, drink my morning coffee and enjoy 😊 the day. My only concern it that it is really light weight and wonder how durable it is going to be. Guess time will tell on that. With that being said I am real pleased with this glider chair and will possibly be ordering another one. The price is also great and thanks to the seller for offering this item.
So comfortable!

I love this chair!! Assembly was fairly simple - although one of the screws for the glide part was stripped and had to go buy another one - it took about 45 minutes (without the travel to and from the hardware store). It is light and so comfortable. I ordered one to see if it was worth getting another. After trying it out I immediately ordered a second one. Going to get that one put together and sit outside under the stars.
Update: Both chairs are up and gliding! Assembly did take some time but was not terrible. They are very light and I would caution about leaving out in the wind. Mine are in a protected location and wind is not an issue but I can see how it would be. These glide easily and even my 2 year old granddaughter could make them go. Just right for warm evenings - or cool evenings - sipping tea and enjoying the sunset or the stars.

Assembly nightmare saved by a seemingly great Patio Chair

Seem like nice chair however I have not really gotten the chance to try them out extensively yet. I ordered 2 of them and had them assembled in about one and a half hours. The first chair took about 1 hour due to the fact that the directions are extremely poor, on a scale of ease of assembly this would rank as a 2 out of 5 in terms of difficulty but the directions provided make it much more difficult and frustrating then it really is. Otherwise the only other annoyances I encountered during assembly was the hex socket bolts which were irritating because the provided hex key had a tendency to slip out and finally the provided wrench is worthless (very small and thin) and ended up using my own tools.
The chair once assembled is surprisingly light, thanks to the powder coated aluminum, it is thin walled and hollow. I am interested to see how they hold up through the winter since they will remain outside.
The chairs are quite comfortable and glide like a dream. Once you get them assembled i think you will be quite happy with them.
The only reason I gave this 4 out of 5 star rating was due to the hardware provided and poor directions, otherwise I would rate it 5 stars.
All in all for the price (81.99) this is one comfy chair that with luck will get their fair share of use.

The good and the bad about these chairs...

Ok here's the good and the bad! The BAD...if you only purchased 1 of these chairs then God help you! LOL I purchased 2 and the first one took 2 of us over 2 1/2 hours to assemble! The instructions ( as stated by many others) are horrible! Tiny little diagrams with all kinds of lines intersecting each other make it extremely difficult to figure out. You have to really study it to see what bolt goes where. For you "older" folks...just have your readers available. That being said , the second chair went together very fast as by then we were pros at it. We did have to take a break in between assembling the first and second chair just to cool down from all the frustration. :-) And now the GOOD...it is a very nice glider and the price on Amazon was the lowest of all the sites I searched. It is very comfortable and the glide is very smooth. Being made of aluminum it is lightweight and easy to move and won't rust. Looks great out on my deck! Overall I am very pleased with these chairs. I give it 5 stars for finished project and 0 stars for instructions. Just take your time assembling and you will be glad you purchased it!
Great Value in Aluminum

Just finished putting together and overall pleased. Small dings.. one paint artifact on arm that doesn't look great, and the sling fabric a mild step down from my midprice dinner set (time will tell), and finally the chair is just a hair too small for my SO at 6-foot 230#, although am sure he will sit there anyway. Am a little wary down the line of steel meeting aluminum, as the screw hardware does not seem stainless and one set of end brackets seems likely to be steel welded to aluminum; not sure. The rocking motion is very smooth. Overall a great value at this price point and am ordering another except price went up.
As to assembly, everyone's suggestions very helpful, took 1 hour. Went very smoothly until the end, attaching the chair to the rocker base. Distracted by figuring out how to get the base through the cross bar of the lower chair, I completely lapsed attention to the fact that the base is directional, not symmetrical. It's obvious after the fact, yet due to lack of clear instruction and the distraction and being so close to done, I did not realize it was backwards until done. Flipping it took 5 minutes and it's all good now, but please take note. Also, definitely get your hands on a 10mm ratchet and throw their little tool in the recycling.
