These things do exactly what they are advertised to do. Make no mistake, if you need to attach a bipolar wire to a post on the back of a receiver, these are your guys.

While they look well constructed, these adapters will NOT work on a typical 75 ohm coax connector that is designed to take a coaxial cable.
In particular, the center pin is much too thick, and the outer diameter is the precise size of the coax jack itself.
