We have had similar brushes to this one previously and they worked great.
My son travels back and forth and often forgets stuff that he needs. We ordered this brush as a back up to keep on hand for when he forgets his at college.
My son has naturally curly hair and he keeps it fairly long (Shoulder length or longer) His hair gets tangly and knotted. This brush works wonders in getting all of the snarls out of his hair. My daughter also uses this. She has very fine hair and it gets snarled very easily. This seems to cut through the snarls very easily.
One piece of advice, it seems to work better in the shower or when the hair is wet.

I had high hopes but this is a knock-off version. It works on mildly tangled hair but my daughter gets nests in her hair from sleeping and these still pull a whole bunch. Right after a shower though, this brush works great!

I'd read reviews and wasn't sure about buying it. I broke down and bought it and I'm glad I did! It really does make it easier to brush hair that has tangles. No more tugging and pulling and causing pain. There are a few tangles left, but it does some untangling of those so that they don't hurt when you brush it with a regular brush. It really is worth buying it!
