Despite every attempt, this machine absolutely would not record the singer's voice, as it was advertised to do. That's what my father wanted it for. Every time I visited Dad in Northern California, I tried different flash drives, different SD cards (none of which it would read), again formatting the flash drives to FAT32; you name it. Absolutely nothing worked. It would record music from a pre-recorded CD to a flash drive but never include the singer's voice. The instructions for this activity were pretty simple. They just didn't work. By the time this computer savvy buyer gave up, it was too late to return the unit.

My kids and the neighborhood Kids absolutely love this device. I also use it for an after school club. Bluetooth can get knocked off if other people have Bluetooth automated on nearby. I cannot figure out how to play uTube karaoke from iPad words on it - have trouble getting Bluetooth microphones to not sound staticy. Need to get some kids bop cd to see if will work. Can't get amazon music karaoke words to show on screen either. But lightshow works well. Cd works for well.

I really like this machine. It has great sound, a good size screen, a little compartment to hold your smartphone, and some funny party lights in the speaker that can be turned on or off. It's small enough to be portable but has big sound. I live that it is Bluetooth compatible, but yet I can still hook it up to my TV and use my CDs if wanted. Great machine!! Would and have recommend!! Happy with my purchase!!

Never tried it for sound, but with 10 watts of power maybe mom and dad may not be so happy.
Controls are convenient. Disk player is handy and it does come with a disk full of songs to get started. It has a handy usp port so you can record your own music on a flash drive.
It is recordable, kids will like that.

This is s Christmas present for my 9 yr old granddaughter. We took it out and my daughter tried it out. Initial try out with just a couple songs -it's great. I'm excited for Christmas to get here she's going to love it!!!
