I love these shoes. They were a fashion statement for a short time during my hs days back in 1979, although I never owned any. I can't believe how small they run. I usually wear a 5.5 but ordered up for some odd reason. Well, my toe hits the front of the shoe. No kidding. I might wear them with no socks in the summer, or maybe I'll just donate them to charity.

Wonderful shoes and they fit perfectly! I like the fact that the buckle has holes so they fasten properly and don't slip.The only drawback is that they smell really bad, as in a STRONG chemical smell. Does anyone know how to get rid of that (aside from actual washing)? I tried Febreeze and wiping them down with a washcloth. They are airing outside right now!
Update: even though I've washed them and worn several times, that chemical smell won't go away (to the point where I don't want to wear these shoes) Never had a problem like this with this style of shoe before

I've bought many pairs of these shoes over time. I love them. They're comfortable and go with lots of stuff. These shoes always smell very strong like chemicals but it wears off. Whatever you do have these shipped by themselves. Everything in the box with it will smell. I get a dress at the same time and I cannot get the smell out of the dress. Lesson learned.

So perfect! So cute & comfy. I'm a size 8-8.5 so I went with a size 8. They fit perfectly, just a teensy bit snug but they feel great. They arrived really quickly as well! I am ordering a few more pairs to replace these when they eventually begin to wear, the price is too good not to have a bunch!

Okay, here's the deal. I ordered a pair of these shoes for a Halloween costume. I needed to wear them twice and hoped they'd hold up for the two days. They did and they were surprisingly comfortable - soft, lightweight, basically a slipper I could get away with wearing at work. And I wore the crap out of them. After four months (and very rainy months at that) they were still holding up wonderfully, but started getting that funky smell of which cheap shoes are prone, so I ordered a new pair.

These new ones... they are most definitely not created equally. The material is stiff and rubbery. Rather than being comfy, cute slippers I can wear to work, they're the nasty kind of shoes that don't breath at all and make your feet hot and miserable. Which, in turn, makes me miserable and grumpy and I still have to suffer through the second half of my work day.

Soooo... if you happen to get the first sort, they're amazing, five star shoes. If you get the second variety, return 'em immediately or chuck them in the garbage. Unfortunately, there's no way to determine which sort you're going to get, so I'd recommend not wasting your time.
