I've done a lot of research, and I concluded that fuel consumption was most important after a regional disaster (Hurricane in Florida) Gas ran out before the storm and without power, stations could not pump it. The Firman P03603 gives almost 3 hours of power per gallon of gas compared to the 6500 and 8500 generators burning 1.5 gallons per hour. Running 2 full sized refrigerator/freezers at the same time running 10-15 amp power tools (chainsaw, leaf blower, circular saw, shop vac) I got close enough to 3 hours from my first gallon of gas to confirm that I made the right decision. Didn't have to spend extra money for battery, or wheels, and the remote starter just makes starting easy. As well, it is light weight enough that I can lift it by myself if I need to raise it or load it. It's nice package for the price. The only thing it lacks is a 240 volt connection, but I knew that going in.
But love the auto start
