Great french press, great coffee!

I was tired of lukewarm, bitter coffee from drip machines and I've had too many broken french press carafes so this was perfect. The design is extremely sturdy and has held up to daily use. We even brought it on a trip and it survived intact. The mesh filter does a great job of keeping all of the grounds out, something that I had an issue with when using a Bodum. It's well insulated so you don't burn yourself when touching the outside. It also cleans really easy because its a metal finish. Would buy again.

Don't be fool by the low price: it's an extremely nice french press. Pictures don't show this, but once in your hands you can immediately notice it's built to last. The press is heavy enough to detect it's made of steel (and not aluminium or other metal), the flavor of the coffee is good (I have a crystal french press too and flavor is basically the same), the double layer keeps the coffee hot for at least 20 min, and it's very easy to clean and fast (easier than other french press items I had).

After dropping and shattering 2 glass French presses, this is perfect!!! It is also insulated and jeeps your coffee hot longer. I am so happy with this purchase! The only downside is you cannot see through it, however I have not had any problems so far with grinds coming back up.

I don't drink tons of coffee, so this filled my need for single serve coffee a few times a week. Works very well. I think it had a metallic taste the first time I used it, I don't really notice it now. But I knew that from other reviews, I'd rather have this durable piece of steel than a breakable piece of glass, that was my choice.
I am worried about this handle, It looks welded on so I hope it is very durable. Seems to be.

Amazing French Press!

We used to have the glass Mr Coffee French press that cost about $10. This is well worth the extra few bucks. Keeps coffee warm for about an hour and the pouring spout is perfect to prevent spills. The press totally prevents too much of the coffee silt from getting into your coffee. Will never buy those cheap glass French presses again.
