If the T support is inverted , the rod holder swivel all over the place, will not lock in place. It should have treats on the other end of the adopter. The way is shown on the display, will not work properly, it will swivel all over the place. I had to drill a hole in the adopter and drive a pin to keep it in place. When I want to put it away, I just pull the pin out.
