I got this as an extension and ordered it at the same time as I ordered my pole. This came fast , but it does not work with xpole poles. I was disappointed. If your pole threads it should work fine. I will unfortunately have to return item.

Bought a pole that was to tall for my ceilings, even at the lowest possible length, so I bought the extension.! Works great, and looks just like the pole. I believe the pole came from a different seller!
