It works, just make sure you read the instructions

You get what you pay for. We only wanted this to watch our back pet door to make sure nothing else other than our cat was coming in. It does work but at night the pictures are black/white/grayscale. During the daylight the pictures are in color. The camera doesn't get all the pictures as I think the product doesn't "reset" that quickly. I wouldn't purchase if it was for outside use but that is just me.

Ok got this to see who was messing with car tires well day photos are clear night photo are black and white are clear we didn't catch the person yet but did catch coyotes and foxes an owls cats and dogs everything but the kitchen sink lol it's easy to use follow instructions also make sure you have correct SD card its not waterproof works great would recommend it

Worked great for a few weeks. Deer, rabbits, cats, raccoons, the works. Delivered first week of July. Had noticed some condensation near camera and sensors by the third week and took it inside to dry out. Fourth week, put it back outside but it had ceased functioning. Too late to return according to Amazon after a little over a month. Should have bought a more water-tight camera. I'm out thirty bucks.
Setting Time Is a show stopper

To set the date and time, you have to move the SD card from camera and open a program on your PC and set the date with the software on the SD card. That means when you have to change batteries or the card then you need a laptop or PC close by or the time will be off. It will be set based upon when you removed it from your PC. That could be several hours.
Good trail camera for the price, but does have weaknesses.

I purchased two of these trail cameras and I was very impressed with both. I used one for over 2 months, the other for less than a month. Setup/installation couldn't be any simpler. They were very hardy and took fairly good photos. The first camera was taken down by raccoons and found later in a feral hog mud wallow 20 ft away. It had taken on water, but it managed to take photos for another week after that before it stopped working. The second one succumbed to failure after a week of heavy storms and 5"+ of rain in 2 days. Lesson learned? Find a way to waterproof it. Otherwise, these are great budget trail cameras that I will probably buy again and figure out a way to waterproof it.
