You will probably need two sets or another filler, because these are pretty unsubstantial on their own. The lights add a delicate amount of ambience to a room, but not as much as I'd hoped. It still looks nice though, even with no lights on.
Arrived in excellent condition. No timer if plugged in.

These arrived well-packed and in perfect shape. I did buy two bundles, as suggested, and added them to some older ones I already had that had battery packs. I removed the older battery packs and so have some lit and some not lit. They look full and wonderful.
I wanted to get some that could be plugged in, as I was going through a lot of batteries.
It would be good to know that the timing mechanism does not work if the lights are plugged in to a wall plug - only works if battery pack is used. To remedy this, I got a simple wall plug timer.

At first I was so in love with these, but after 2 weeks of using the timer each day (the timer turns the lights on for 6 hours each day) the batteries were completely drained. I thought maybe this was a fluke, and just changed the batteries, but the same thing happened after 2 weeks, batteries completely drained. I bought these to put up high on a plant shelf so it's difficult for me to replace the batteries so often, and since they are up high there is no wall access so plug these in. I'm so disappointed because I absolutely love these but I cannot afford to replace the batteries every 2 weeks.
Love and would definitely buy again!

I was hesitant to purchase of the reviews about broken branches upon arrival, but I'm extremely pleased with this purchase! Package arrived on time in a heavy-duty mailing tube with a Fragile sticker on it. None of the beaches are broke and I could easily separate the branches with lights from those that didn't have lights, and re-arrange them into a vase without any of the branches breaking. Popped in 3 AA batteries and put the base in a niche. It's the perfect amount of light for the hallway at night, and turned off after 6 hours. My hub or and I both love it and would definitely buy again. Thank you!!!!
