Great buy for boutique builds

These are excellent pickups. They are real wood (not Veneer) mounted on pretty typical humbucker components. They have a good warm tone, brought elephants to mind for me, they were for a jem style guitar I was building for my wife. I love these and am thinking of buying another set to just to have on hand. Highly recommend.
P.s. there was a teeny bit of wax on the top of the pickups from the potting process, but it was easily removed.

I have no idea how these pickups sound because I didn't install them. The neck pickup I received was completely misaligned from the lazer printing, there was wax from potting all over the wood, and there was glue that I couldn't remove on the wood as well. I messaged the seller, but did not receive a response so I sent them back. The bridge humbucker looked really neat, but this would look ridiculous if I just used one. Also the pickup rings are plastic with a wood veneer glued on top, so not really what I was expecting. I'd give them a try if they at least looked ok.
