Very pleased with this basketball system- perfect for my family (no future NBA players). If you want the best get a Megaslam system for around $2000 plus installation costs. I got this for a great deal around Black Friday- $50 less than the Goaliath version that Dick's had on sale for Black Friday. I paid the $30 to have the system assembled ( very pleased with that service), which was 80% off the regular price. The system seamed very easy to put together and the installer had it together in a little over an hour. I filled the base and wheels with over 300 pounds of sand. There is a little wobble when a ball hits hard off the glass but overall the best portable system I've seen. My kids love it. Buying from Amazon was much better than buying the Goaliath Gotek from Dick's because of the free scheduled delivery. I had a great experience with the entire buying process. I am glad I went with this instead of spending way too much for a Megaslam system (which I was ready to purchase until I saw the Black Friday deal on this).

We love it. It took me about two hours to put it together. Note I took my time and did it myself. The instructions and parts was probably one of the best I've seen. Each part was packaged well and the nuts and bolts were shrink wrapped. Only change I made was the spring. I felt the silver was stood out too much so I sprayed it black with outdoor metallic glossy paint. Its perfect and the kids can easily adjust the height. A little tough for them to set to 10 feet. but easy enough for them to click on links in between. Was originally planning to put one in ground but cost of $1200 plus another $400 to install in ground was just too much. This Hoop is perfect.

Great hoop and worth the money IMO. Bought it because my daughter had outgrown her Lifetime junior goal which is a great starter goal for kids. Put it together by myself in about 2 hours. Instructions are very thorough and parts are nicely packaged and labeled. I shopped a 54" Lifetime goal and this and settled on the Silverback. I only wish the rim spring was covered. Manufacturer tells me the 54" rim spring is covered but not the 50". 4" of backboard and that are not worth $100 to me. Filled the base and wheels with sand and the backboard has excellent rebound and very little movement for a portable. Very pleased with the purchase and look forward to many years of play with my kids.
