I've bought two of these skirts and wear them constantly. The denim blue one has held up through about 4 months of constant wear and still looks new so I purchased the grey just a week or so ago. It looks fantastic and, like the denim one, smooths out my bumps and is nice and slimming. The grey is a thinner material with a bit more stretch while the dark denim is standard jeans material - fairly sturdy and less stretch. Unlike most stretchy skirts it does NOT look like sausage casing on my legs!

One surprise - the denim skirt has nice, deep front pockets while the grey has false pockets in front. As a girl who loves her pockets that was a bit of surprise and I frequently find myself trying to put something in those non-existent pockets. It makes sense - the thinner material would show a pocket bag so it does look better without. Still, it was a surprise to find such a change between the two colors.

I ordered three of these skirts in gray, indigo, and medium blue. As for fit, I am 5'3 and weigh 145 pounds. The skirts fit like pencil skirts which I absolutely love, and hit just below my knees. I normally wear a size 6 or 8 depending on the brand. If you want a looser look you will need to size up. Right out the package these skirts feel like your favorite broken in denim jeans. The amount of stretch is perfect as it does not take away from the denim look and feel. After having two kids my tummy can sometimes be my trouble area if the clothes are not well made or if clothes sits too high on my waist. This is not the case with these skirts. The skirts sit at my natural waist and when I sit down I don't feel the need to unbutton them. When standing the skirts give a very flat appearance in the tummy area, which is just what I was looking for. Some denim skirts can look bulky in the tummy area due to the weight of the denim, but these skirts do not have that problem. I just purchased a similar style stretch denim skirt from Banana Republic that was on sale and I still paid twice the cost of the price of one of these skirts. Needless to say, I will be returning the Banana Republic skirt. I am so pleased with these skirts that I am going to purchase the black denim one as well. You can never have enough well made denim skirts in your wardrobe. If you're on the fence about buying this skirt don't be, just order it. You will not be disappointed.

This is a nice flattering skirt. The design makes it easy to wear in a variety of settings. My advice? Wash it in warm water before wearing it to protect your other clothes from dye bleed. You might benefit from soaking it in a pan of soapy water overnight and then let it run through a full cycle by itself in your washer. This is how dark denim should really be treated before wearing. You may want to wash and wear it a few times before wearing it with a blouse tucked in.

This is the perfect denim skirt! Because of my pear-shaped figure (27 inch waist, 41 inch hips), I often have trouble finding skirts that fit properly. Especially when shopping online. I bought a 10, and it is perfect. Not skin tight, but fitted enough to have the true pencil skirt shape. There is a lot of stretch to the skirt, but the material is nice and thick. One thing - the black looks more like a navy blue to me. But it's not enough to bother me, considering how fabulous this skirt is. Great price too!

Looks adorable, but the front pockets are fake. I still wear it, but my heart breaks slightly every time I go to put my hands in my pockets only to be reminded that they are a cruel lie. The back pockets are real at least
