I'm giving this 5 stars even though it's a bit "hard" on my back. Honestly though, that is the way I have found all Shiatsu massagers. I learned quickly not to lean hard into the unit. It is powerful and you can get as much massage-pressure or as little as you want by just controlling your lean into it. This unit is very well constructed. And the provider was lightning fast getting it shipped right out. (Do NOT unzip the cover when trying to find a place to plugin the 12v-cig-lighter adapter. Instead, notice the main power cord pulls apart. That is where you switch from one power source to another. I almost felt like knocking down this rating because there was NO instruction pounting this out!) I am 5'9" and I must skoot down a little if I want it to massage above my shoulder blades. It does not reach the neck area, but that is not a negative because I knew that when ordering it.
For the price, this is a strong well built massager. It is not a whimpy little pulse-only massager. In fact, the only vibration is on the lower flap. It relaxes my tail bone and buttocks. It would help hamstrung muscles as well.

This is great for a portable back massaging cushion - you can take it any where and it's very lightweight. The remote is attached to a cord inside the seat which I love because I have a tendency of losing stuff (I'm famous for losing tv remotes).

This the first day of me using this product, in fact, Im in my recliner at home now right now enjoying my lower back massage, I set it to target certain areas since there where I have the most pain. Being a Mom of 3 kids, two of which are aged 1 and 2, my hands are always full and do a lot of carrying. This works great when I just need a few moments to myself. The timers highest settings are 5,10, and 15 minutes. I just reset the 15 mins twice because I prefer a little bit of a longer massage.

The massage rollers are no joke, they roll pretty hard. However if it seems too hard on your back, just lift a little from the cushion. I personally like the deep tissue massage because It gets those knots out, but everyone is different and will have a different preference.

The features and options provided on the remote allow you to target specific areas or handle the entire back. It also has a vibration option for the seat, and a slight heating release. I was worried I wouldn't like the heating feature but surprisingly I loved it!

Overall, I think this is great for what it is. It is a massaging cushion that you can take anywhere, it is not an actual massaging chair, which based off some of the lower star ratings, I think some were expecting. I love mine and very happy with my purchase!

Very well made, works well...just be prepared for intense full back massage. Maybe in the RV, more likely for home use. Make sure your vehicle seat adjustment, has room to slide back far enough, to accommodate the extra room needed to drive comfortable.
UPDATE. Make sure, you want a very aggressive massage, cus you are going to get one. I can handle lumbar and upper back, it is well short of the neck area, and I do wish the spot option would take the massage balls, lower on my back. I can't see using this in my vehicles, but will give it a shot in my RV. Not for bed or alike, I mainly use it on the couch, fits there well enough. Long ago, I sat in a massage chair, in Sharper Image and it was amazing. This is not even close to a massage chair, but none of the massagers in this price range could be. Just remember, it is FIRM.

This is SO nice! Heat, vibration massage, what more could I ask for. Fits well in a chair and on my couch. It has an adapter for the car too but I haven't tried that yet. Reminds me of the massage chairs they use when you're getting a pedicure. I especially love the heat!! Very happy with this!

This thing works great. And for something that works this great I would usually give it 5 stars, but the motor on mine seems to be a bit weak. Maybe I got a lemon, since I don't see that anyone else has complained about it. So I am not really sure this thing is going to last very long.
