I have a small 5.5 gallon fish tank and I had overstocked it with guppies because I didn't know better. My filter also needed to be replaced and wasn't working as great so you can imagine all the little fish poops on the substrate. This baster did a great job of cleaning those up and since it's big, it can reach to the bottom and all the corners pretty easily. This is a great investment for nano tank owners to use in between water changes.

So only 4 stars because I'm using this for aquarium- ran it through the dishwasher and the rubber still has a pungent odor. I'm still using it in the aquarium, just wish they would have used a less stinky rubber for the bulb.
Aside from that - works like a charm to spot clean aquarium- dispense food or tidy up the tank.
