This journal is FANTASTIC, and I will almost certainly be buying more! I bought it to scrapbook a two-week international trip, and it has been perfect for that! I've shown the blank journal to several people, and they each admired it. One of them even asked for one of her very own for the next Christmas/birthday event in her life. The paper inside is high-quality, and the ring binder makes it easy to include ticket stubs and such from the trip. I've already been eyeing out other designs, for the next time I need a blank book.

Arrived this afternoon with the clunky "charms" attached. Very simple construction. Cover is not padded (good). Removed the charms. Tied a tight knot in the leather straps at the top of the spine and tucked the loose ends behind the lacing. Use the strap without the metal charm and just tuck the knot in behind the laces after running it all around the notebook (product illustration shows this using the charm). Carried it to an appointment and wrote a letter while waiting my turn; found it very easy to write (left handed), removed the sheet and turned it over for the second side. Do not need to carry 100 or more sheets with me, so just put maybe 25 in the binder and set the rest aside. Tried writing with a sheet held on the outside back cover and that was fine as well. Overall? Excellent product. Works great!

Very beautiful. Got as gift for sister's high school graduation. The colour is as appears on my screen - a saturated teal, very pretty. The leather feels soft and sturdy, and the cord looks like it'll hold up. I like that the pages are refillable, tho I would only suggest they be made a shade lighter. They're a bit too dark.
Overall, it's a lovely journal.

This book is a hundred times better than I ever expected it to be! I absolutely love it. The cover is beautiful. I got mine in black and was a little nervous that the design on the front wouldn't show up good, but it does. The pages inside are really nice and have an old book look to them which made it even better. The tassels have a decent amount of weight to them, and are a great addition to the book itself. I started writing my first novel a few weeks ago and needed a book that would fit nicely in my purse for when I have on the go ideas. This book is the best one I've seen in awhile. I will definitely be buying more of these as I fill up the pages, and the fact that it has three rings on the inside so I can replace the paper is awesome! You have made one very happy writer here. :D <3

I was purchasing this as part of a gift for my stationary loving niece...we have very similar taste, so I am really happy that I decided to get one for myself too. It is adorable. It is small (portable) and has a three ring binder set up (so you can refill and reuse it...if you find the right sized paper)
