Itty bitty cute cups and broken bases

These little pots are super cute. They ended up being a little small but that was my fault; I was paying such close attention to my succulent width that I didn't take height into consideration. They're pretty short, and so the little baby 2.5" succulents I bought from le Home Depot were too tall for them.
Aside from that, one of the bases came completely cracked in half. The packaging is really great, so I'm not sure why; my only guess is that, the way these are packaged, the base is kind of jammed into a little styrofoam hole "” and when I say jammed, I mean jammed "” and it might be too tight of packaging for the base since the material of it is...well, I don't want to say flimsy but it's definitely not a piece of real wood.
Anywho, I'm going to return these because they don't fit my needs. Posting a pic of the crack and also one with the cup next to a water bottle so other buyers can have size. :)
(Also, update, not from this seller but from another, I ordered a bigger version of this and its base also came broken. Now I'm kind of thinking that might be common?)

I really wanted to love these, but, sadly, I had problems with two different orders and had to send these back. These really are sweet little pots that I was planning on using for gifts (like for a housewarming or token of appreciation for admin professional's day). Despite looking like they were well packed in sturdy white foam, one pot in my first order had a decent size chip on the lip. Everything else looked great- the pots perfectly fit in their bamboo bases. Anyway, I sent it back, rolled the dice, and placed another order. In the second order, the pots were all undamaged, but having seen the pot in its base in the previous order, the new bases were comically large. They were even packaged differently than the first, making me think there was either a mix up or a shortage/substitution that someone hope wouldn't be noticed. I've attached a photo from the second order with the too large base. They would have been ok, but I knew it wasn't right, so I sent them back. I'm tempted to try for a third time, we'll see.

These succulent pots are so beautiful! I bought a total of 8 and they look so nice near my kitchen window. They are of nice quality and I like the drainage holes. I thought they would be on the smaller size but they were perfect for the succulents that I had. I would purchase again!
