I've primarily used this as a water container due to a lack of quality craft beer near where I live, but I've used this for both beer and water and it has been incredible. I live in an area where the temperature frequently reaches 100 degrees or more and this keeps my water cold (with ice cubes still whole) for 24+ hours. It's great for hikes too. My only complaint is that I've had difficultly locating alternative lids because it's difficult to drink from when driving with such a large opening. I've bought two different lids that are supposed to fit wide mouth Hydro Flask's and neither have fit so I've been using the stock lid. Other than that I've had no complaints and love the product.

I have ordered several hydro flask products and I love them all. Arrived on time and in good brand new condition. These truly keep things cold for a good 12 hours even in the sun, left in a hot car, etc. They also DO NOT SWEAT or form any condensation which is definitely my favorite thing about them and I haven't found another water bottle company that can swear by that. You can pack it full of ice and throw it in a bag and it's not going to form condensation and get other things wet. It's amazing.

I use this growler as a water bottle as my day usually involves much walking in the midday and afternoon heat. I usually fill it with ice on Monday and by Wednesday morning when I fill it up again (after having refilled it with water several times), the ice is nearly gone.

I have not used it for hot beverages yet so I cannot speak to its performance in that regard.

Additionally the bottle is heavy when filled (which should go without saying), however I've never found it uncomfortable to carry. I have not yet identified the best way to attach it to my bicycle for distance carrying though. Also, this growler doesn't show dings or scrapes very readily.

Received this product , super excited only to be filled with diappointment after holding the hydro flask because it felt fake. Went to REI to buy one and finally feels REAL. SO THIS MEANS THIS PRODUCT IS FAKE :(

This Hydro Flask is amazing. I found out about it because I have a coworker who is always walking around with his in his hand. So I asked him, why do u always have that big jug in your hand? (Lol and it is a jug but they do have smaller sizes available ). He said that it is the best water container he has ever had. After the conversation I had to try it for myself. I bought it and put water and ice in it, and the water stayed ice cold all day. Matter of fact the ice did not melt until the next day. It is amazing. I have left it in the hot car a few times and the water is still ice cold. It is the same for hot liquids like coffee or cocoa, it stays hot all day. It is amazing, how many times have I said that....ok one more time....it is amazing. I plan on buying a few more in the smaller sizes so that my daughter who takes her lunch to school can have a cold drink at lunch or a cold drink for ptactics after school. Also it is great for taking to the gym, which I do all the time, but I will buy a smaller size for the gym as well. I love this...buy it , I swear you won't regret it. By the way I also purchased a Swig Savvy Pouch carrier for my hydro flask because it makes carrying the large 64 Oz jug a breeze. If you plan on getting the 64 ounce size like I did, trying to buy a holder for it.
