Recommend keeping it in the oven while it warms

I've used this for about a year now I like it it works exactly as what it says it will do helps to keep the crust on the bottom of the pizza crunchy and evenly cooked. Also be careful what you put on it because it will absorb the oil and it's not gonna come out.
Helps make great pizza!

Great stone. Hasn't broke! Seems durable. Holds a good amount of heat to get that crust baked right.
A great addition to our outdoor cooking arsenal

We had been cooking pizzas on our large Big Green Egg which worked out fine for the first pizza maybe two but beyond that the temperature of the stone always needed to be cooled. It just was a pain that I decided to avoid.
We had purchased a Yoder pellet grill/smoker and decided to try it with two stones at the same time. Stone #1 was a BGE branded unit but I didn't see any BGE stones on Amazon. I saw the Cast Elegance stone and observed that it had received very good reviews so I gave them a try.
I can't say that this new stone performed any better than the BGE stone but it didn't do any worse and both pizzas were a "winner winner chicken dinner". :) The family raved about them. The Yoder was set to 400 F for about 60 minutes and the pizzas cooked to perfection in around 20 minutes cook time. But then again it's just a pizza stone so there's only so much one can go on about. It's not like it's a spaceship, right? It didn't crack so I'm happy for now.
What I can say is that the Cast Elegance packaging was very attractive, well protected, and with some useful documentation as well. It came with an invitation to send them an email for an eRecipe book. I sent the email and got nearly an instant response from some guy in the Philippines with the eRecipe book attached. Frankly, I try to not buy items made in PRC but decided otherwise this time.

Solid, Quality, Inexpensive

Despite the product title, I wouldn't say that it is especially premium. Not even sure that it's steel - I think it's cast iron - but this baby is very heavy and releases a tremendous amount of heat into whatever you cook on it. It also tries to stabilize the temperature of your oven/grill despite you open the lid more often that you are supposed to. In other words, it does the same as simiar pizza steels.
The best feature for me is that it is the perfect length for my grill, slides neatly in place of a grate. I have used it on the 'cool' side to bump up the heat distribution and on the hot side to more evenly distribute the heat from the flames below.
I've grilled vegetables and cooked steaks after searing them over the flame. Oh, and I cooked pizza on it too. It worked well for all of these purposes.

Just received the Stone Amazing packing.
Really excited to start making Apizza.
It's high quality steel. I recommend anyone who is serious about making Apizza to buy.
