We are using this pizza stone in the bottom of our rv oven. It does a great job distributing heat in the oven for baking when camping. Before using this stone, the oven had very uneven heat when baking.

The only problem with smaller ovens is heat loss when opening the door. This is why I always keep it in my half size Avantco oven. It saves energy. If I roast meat, I cover it with a Kona heat proof mat and/or a sheet pan.
