I am very happy with this thermometer. I do want to point out that the ear measurement is more accurate than the forehead measurement. However, if you don't like poking it in your ear (or your kid's ear), then the forehead measurement works fine. Just remember to add a degree to whatever the reading is, and that is likely to be the more accurate number.
As strange as this sounds, this thermometer can actually measure air temperature, and I have used it for that as well. I do find it to be accurate.
All in all, I would recommend this product without hesitation.

I received my thermometer and all is working just perfectly. Took my temp and it came up correctly. Very pleased.
The company also sent a couple of emails to inquire if I had received it and with additional bits of information (FAQs). I did go to the website and downloaded the manual from there because I couldn't see to read the small manual that came with it. I'm a senior citizen now (horrors - I don't FEEL like one) and print is just too small so I do that with most anything I buy!
I look forward to using it (not too often I hope) when needed.

My mom needed a easy to read and easy to use forehead and ear thermometer for when she kept our kids overnight. We were looking for something small, with a colored display that could be seen in the night time. This one from iProven is really awesome. The display works great in day and night lights. LOVE LOVE LOVE iProven! This thermometer is great, I've bought two recently - one was with the slightly "older" technology but both work extremely well and seem to be very accurate.
