Faulty DC jack

I have owned this light for about a year. Just started using AFTER deer season was over. I used it on a 12 volt solar charging system. Lights were ok, not too bright but enough if it was very dark out. The trouble I had was with the dc port/jack on the unit. It became loose and power source was not able to power the lights on. I tried different ways to rig the wires but it wouldn't work correctly. I think for the money, it should have better workmanship than that. It's too bad because I liked they way the lights came on gradually intensifying the lights. And since they are LEDs it didn't drain the battery.

Not worth it

This light is a complete waste of money. While the automatic light on setting is a good idea the brightness is pretty bad. I have this light set up at 75 yards away directly under a 55 gallon drum feeder. At night I can only see the led not the actual part the light is projecting on. I'm using a quality Nikon Prostaff scope.

Good light for what it is

I wasn't sure how I would like this one since it was not motion activated, but I mounted it easily and attached it to another motion activated hog light. This one comes on at sundown and shuts off at dawn causing it to stay on all night long. What's nice about the way I mounted it is that it is attached to another kind of hog light that has a 6 volt rechargeable battery in it and it will recharge all day long and be ready for another night of work.
