What it is, and what it isn't. It's decent, inexpensive, accessory cord. It's not premium cord. It is UIAA certified, on the UIAA website, as 12kn accessory cord. It's polyester, not nylon, so it's slick and a little stiff. It's not the best for things like prusiks and autoblocks, but it does work for them. You might want to add an extra wrap. It is made in China, but so are iPhones and 80% of the rest of the world's products.
