Saw this on YouTube and was so impressed I had to run out (well run to the computer) to buy one. If you break up a bunch of pallets its worth it. I get 80 to 100 free pallets a week so time is of essence. One big to do to add. Put a bucket with sawdust in it to catch the nails as they shoot out. They come out in a fast speed. On suggestion on the YouTube was to put a swivel connector on it. I bit. IT IS WORTH IT !!!! I used the ABN 1/4" NPT 360 Degree Swivel Connector - reasonable price.

if you're reusing trim, lumber or salvaging pallets, you NEED this. I was never one to buy a tool specific to one job, especially something like pulling nails from stock. but i am building an entertainment table from pallet wood and needed to salvage as much as possible. this tool made it quick, easy and clean. most nails were punched out that i could wiggle them by hand or quickly pull them with my hammer. a few nails were punched all the way out. MAKE SURE YOU'RE WEARING SAFETY GLASSES. when the driver hits the nail there is a spark, so make sure not to be around anything flammable. otherwise i could see this becoming used much more in the future. easily can be run on a 3gal comp

This tool has saved me so much time. It works well and I am glad I found it. I have used mine to remove nails from pallet slats.
