Works fine, a few issues

While I feel this option is a nice convenient option for people that don't want to mess with the liquid repair kits, I do have a few issues with the product that others should be aware of:
1) We ordered one 'Dark Brown' patch in March and it matched our espresso furniture exactly. I ordered another in July and it was a lighter colored 'Dark Brown' - more like a chocolate. I didn't really think about checking if there was going to be a difference before slapping it on, so now we have a multi-colored patched up couch. I'm now looking for something that is bigger to cover the top portion of the couch that needed multiple patches.
We had a peeling leather issue the grew after we applied the first patch. Looking back, I would say this patch was too small to contain the entire repair and I should have looked for another leather repair option.
2) If you have the edges of the patch somewhere that a head/hair will rest on, the edge of the patch is still a little sticky for awhile after it is applied. As in, you sit your head against it and you can feel your hair stick to it. It goes away eventually.
I guess they have a different product that is smaller for sofa repair that looks like the edges slope down and become thin. This may have been our perfect option if they made one to fit the size of the repair we needed.around the edge to blend it in. Will probably just live with it until it gets patchier and we upgrade to new furniture.
I'm not a fan of the photos for their other products with a design that looks like it blends in to the surrounding on the listing for their XL repair patch that does not blend in.
With that said, the patch has stayed in place and adhered beautifully. I just wish there was a little more consistency with the color of the dark brown. For example making two skus instead of one if the colors are going to differ so much.

Puppy vs. Leather sofa
Susan in Spring Hill✓ Verified Purchase•August 25, 2017
My German Shepherd puppy ate the ends off the arms of my leather sofa. I know, I know, but it was an old sofa. I planned on replacing it but wanted to wait until she passed the destructive stage. So I wanted to try this product to at least make the couch look passable in the meantime. The color matched great. It was easy to apply. However, it needed to wrap around the ends of the sofa arms. This caused a bit of puckering (which I could live with). After a short time (days? A week or two?) the patch started to lift at those points. Then of course the dog ate them.
If you have a flat spot that needs patching, this just might work.

30 days, not our problem, your problem

I used it for a leather car seat crack. worked fine at first, after 1.5 months the vinyl started separating from the cloth adhesive. I wrote the company (through Amazon) for some help and there response was that it had been 30 days, not our problem, your problem.
Great Product

The upholster guy said it would cost me $600 to fix the leather seats in my F250 Lariat. I put on these patches in the meantime to keep it from spreading and they look great. Extremely easy to install and much cheaper than $600!
Covers the ugly

Great item. My kids decided to see what a pair of scissors would do to my couch cushions. This patch covered it amazingly. It was shipped to me in a large cardboard envelope, undamaged.
Once opened, it was in a single sheet with a wax paper backing to protect the adhesive. The patch was easy to apply and feels like it would be incredibly difficult for my kids to peel off.
Only down side is that the patch itself is a matte finish and my cushions have a slight sheen to them so it doesn't disappear completely but I won't fault the patch for that as it would be almost impossible to match perfectly over the internet.
Overall, I would definitely purchase this item again, but hope that I won't need to.
