K475 - Full Menu Clip Does Not Work - Carafe POD Does Not Work - K-Cup PODS Do Work
tonymcc•March 24, 2018
I bought this mainly for the carafe with my K475. The carafe pod does not work. The full menu clip does not work. I had tried another clip, but was hoping Geesta had improved it. It's the same. I contacted them on their website. I received their automated reply, so they got my inquiry. I never received an answer. This was months ago when I tried the clip at that time. I returned that one. With this deal, I decided to try again. The two cup pods work in my K475, but I don't understand why they made the cup filters so large. I have others that are the perfect size. These will go in if you fold them and push them in. They are a little thicker than other filters I have, and they do work, so that's good. Also, the two cup pods that do work, the purple and the black, both have solid bottoms. Other purple cup pods that I use have mesh bottoms. The EZ-Cup has an open bottom and requires a paper filter (which I use anyway). The solid bottom does not seem to make as strong a cup of coffee. I think the others are better. So, I'm not going to use much that came in this package ... and I can't return it.
Fanatic purchase!

I am so glad I bought this! I was on the fence after reading some of the negative reviews but despite what some people posted I ordered anyway. Most said the freedom clip doesn't work. I figured I'd take a chance, if it didn't work at least I got the reusable pods, pod filters, scoop, cleaner brush and water filters. I paid $10 in store for one reusable pod, so this seemed like a good deal regardless if the freedom clip worked or not. Low and behold it worked! I didn't even know there was a full menu with tons of brewing options on my brewer until I popped that baby in. The products all came beautifully packed like a little Christmas surprise. Now, after a month or so of use, the orange sticker on my clip had some wear and stopped working. I tried looking on amazon to order more from geesta but I couldn't find any from that specific brand. So I emailed geesta to ask if they sold them separately. Geesta contacted me quickly and unfortunately they do not sell the sticker on amazon but instead they immediately sent me out new freedom clips and extra stickers completely free. I got them 3 days later. Fantastic customer service! I think most of the negative reviews are people attempting to use them on the wrong machine or not putting them in properly. After a while I did get the error message when I was using only the clip but then I popped the little orange rubber piece in and boom it worked like a charm again. Just to be clear, I have a keurig 2.0 k250 which I received a little less than a year ago. The pods are great for people wanting to brew their own coffee without having to buy the special kcups, wanting to make less of an environmental impact or just don't want to go broke paying an offensive amount for keurig brand kcups. I really like the scoop because not only does it scoop a perfect amount of coffee into my reusable pod but it also clips to my bag of coffee to keep it closed and fresh. The little cleaner is perfect for getting into the hard to clean spots I have always had trouble getting clean when I would take out the removable parts fo cleaning. The carafe pod actually does not need the freedom clip to work, at least for me it doesn't. I use it every morning. Makes it so easy for refills when I'm getting ready for work. The water filters work perfectly, as do the pod filters. If you try and buy all these products separately in store, at least the ones you can find in store, you will pay WAY more than what they are asking on here. This is the price I would pay for one reusable coffee pod and some water filters in store. All in all this is a great buy and I would recommend this to anyone.
Best-Kept Secret Keurig Deal on Amazon
Micah Harkins•November 3, 2017
I think this might be one of the best "secret deal" buys on Amazon - I mean the value is so much higher than the price, and everyone who owns a Keurig should order this one package at least. The alligator clip/spoon is worth the price alone, and the 6 water filters included are a GREAT inclusion, almost as great as the card & chip for the reader and the neat sturdy cleaning brush - awesome in all ways. I highly recommend this - I just bought a Keurig 2.0 plus and these all work FANTASTIC with my Keurig machine, and allows me to brew my own coffee and tea that is loose leaf tea or even bagged tea, and any grind of my own coffee beans! This is an incredible deal and huge thank you's to the people who are making this available for sale.
Everything you need to make the most out of your Keurig!

This set is perfect, and fits my needs wonderfully! Everything included is well packaged in a convenient gift box, and using the products are bound to save money, (and the environment) in the long run. The re-usable K Cups are of high quality, and the paper filters are helpful to make cleanup easier. Those paper cups come in handy too, if you want to keep your machine running for a long time. Admittedly, I'm not sure of the specific model of my machine, but the metal clip fit perfectly on my 2.0 machine. Installing it is very simple. If you lift up the top of the machine, it fits on the upper left side of the machine, on the top of the brewer chamber. The clip itself does not allow you to unlock the full menu in the machine without a very small rubber "peg" which is packaged with the clip. (It's easily over looked because it's about the size of a memory card for your cellphone, but necessary for everything to work properly).
It took me a bit to find out where this little bugger was supposed to be installed. Once it was in place though, the full menu and all the great features that come with it, popped up immediately. This peg is neon colored and rectangular shaped, with a small pull-tab at the bottom for easy removal. When the chamber is closed, you should see one or two warning triangles underneath the handle you use to open the brew chamber and insert your K-Cups or K-Carafe Pods. When the brewer chamber is open, there is a rectangular shaped piece on the top-center of the chamber. This is where the plug is meant to be installed. Simply insert the flat end of the piece into this narrow space, leaving the tab exposed should it ever need to be removed and cleaned. Once both the metal clip and the plug are installed, the full menu should unlock, and you'll be on your way to bigger cups of coffee.
For bigger cups, you'll need to use the carafe-sized pod. place a large filter (The long sized paper cup) into the reusable K-cup. I fill it with a tablespoon (and about a 1/4 of a teaspoon) of ground coffee, the size of a standard K-Cup more or less. Adding any more, and you'll risk getting a mess of ground coffee in your cup and in the machine. That's why those paper filters are so handy. They serve a dual purpose, by keeping the reusable filter clean, and they prevent coffee grounds from clogging up the machine. Regular maintenance and descaling is still necessary, but it'll protect the motor and make cleanup a bit easier. Since you're only adding a tablespoon of grounds for a 16 oz cup, I use the "Strong Brew" option, since it brews at a slower pace and with more pressure, resulting in a richer taste. Once the brew cycle is complete, leave the K-cup and brewed grounds in the unit for a couple of minutes to cool down and reabsorb any leftover water before removing it. Removing it too early can leave to a nasty burn from coffee drips!
All-in-all is a worthy investment for any coffee lover, and makes a great gift for coffee lovers. As long as you follow the installation instructions closely and keep your brewer and all of these parts clean, you'll have years of great cups of joe ahead!

Great purchase, freedom clip won't work on newer machines
Cky0624•May 10, 2017
This set has a great price point, and all items come in a very nicely put together package. The company has great customer service. I emailed them on a Saturday, and I got a response within the half hour.
As it turns out, the freedom clip did not work on my new 250plus. Geesta sent me a few recommendations to try, but ultimately gave me a partial refund because this piece didn't work. After doing some research, it seems that newer machines (feb/March 2017 and later) have been redesigned so these things don't work. Another reusable carafe filter company has the same problem and they are currently in development for a new solution. For now, I'll make the freedom clip work by affixing a piece of an official pod to the clip over the orange square.
