Great product, couldn't believe my results.

These work surprisingly well! I am very knowledgeable in technology and never have heard of these before. I bought a pair to try out and couldn't believe my own eyes. I have a house built in 1955 and these things allow me to pull full download speed as if I'm connected directly to the router...I only have had to reset them 1 time in the few months I've owned them, very pleased! And they even self sync up!
I am happy with them

Once I got them to work, I am happy with them. I added these to my powerline network that comprised of the the TL-WPA8630P KIT (1200Mbps). Since this was the higher speed (2000Mbps), I placed one of the adapters from the TL-PA9020P KIT as the initial adapter to the powerline network (connected to my router). I was hoping for plug and play 5min job. Unfortunately, this was not plug and play - it took a while to swap these adapters around, try various pairing/resetting of the adapters which involved running between rooms and floors (2-story house) till finally achieving success. My suggestion is if you are adding these to an existing powerline network and these happen to be the fastest of your adapters, then pull all your existing adapters out and start the install from scratch. Pair all other (including the older) adapters to your new one (and do this where the outlets are relatively close by so you are not running between rooms/floors to pair the adapters because once paired you can then move the adapter to the final destination/room and not have to re-pair again). If you do that, I would expect this to be a relatively straight forward task/install.

From a config point of view, I used these to connect a desktop (without wifi capability) and laptop docking station at the other end of house to router via pwrline. Also, I was able to use the older 1200 Mbps single port (came w/8360p kit) to an additional laptop docking station for wired connectivity. I used the wifi capable 1200 Mbps wifi extender (8360p kit) at the other end of the house for better wifi coverage. Using wired connections to desktop/laptop(s) relieves congestion on the wifi network, leaving it for the multiple kids of the household with multiple wifi only devices to fight for bandwidth on the house wifi (my desktop and laptops when attached to the docking stations are happy w/plenty of bandwidth). My way of trying to balance the overall available network capacity....
Great way to expand without running ethernet cable and dealing with crappy wifi

These are fantastic, have made a world of difference for media streaming and no longer having to suffer with Comcast's horrible equipment for wifi. very simple to use and with three ports on each is a huge benefit for expansion of wired connectivity. highly recommend, only two issues I can point out is that while this does allow you to still use the plug, the device is so large that it makes the other plug hard or impossible to use as well. Additionally the units are very "thick" and really stick out from the wall which could be a hassle in some situations.
Great networking solution

After dealing with frequent Wifi issues, I decided to try out the powerline adapters. Initially, I purchased the lower end 300 and 500Mbps units. However, the differences in the signal protocol are more than just speed - the 1200Mbps units are far more robust and will reach across the different circuits in your breaker panel. I've been running the AV1200 for over a year now with exceptionally good results.
Best Power line Adapter hands down!

Awesome product! It is definitely the best of both worlds since it is way better than crappy WiFi and almost as fast as a direct connection through Ethernet. This is my second box that I have bought and they have been working perfectly! Definitely recommend this product!
