I purchased this because my old tester was showing I was in the very low range although I follow a strict diet. The Bayer Contour came with a control solution which I used for reference and to be sure the tester was working. My results correspond with what my doctor's office does so I believe it is very accurate.

Not sure what to compare it to since this is my first but the process is easy enough. I like that it is compact. I do wish it had a deeper setting, I can barely get enough of a sample to come out of my fingers.
