Be Careful. The one shipping now is not a white surface. It is black. This makes seeing the saw cut difficult and does not allow you to line up cuts carefully. This is not the one you will get'

This is excellent accessory for saws it fits. Fits perfectly on my 716XPS and good quality.
You need one of these if you're doping any fine work.

I wish I bought this YEARS ago! It was so simple to install on my quite-old DeWalt DW705 miter saw, but note the screws on the saw are Torx, not hex (though it also has a slot so a flat-bladed screwdriver works as well). Once installed I just slowly lowered the saw blade through it, super simple.
The best part of this zero clearance insert is the edge works just like a track saw edge, making it super easy to line up the work piece cut line with the edge of the blade (which is right at the edge of the cut in the insert).
This also makes it much easier to set the edge stops on my DeWalt DWX724 miter saw stand.
This insert is such a great addition to my miter saw, I recommend it for everyone.
