Doesn't block light, and breaks down after a while

I thought I liked it when I got it. What I liked was the softness of how it felt on my face, and that it didn't create enough physical discomfort to prevent me from sleeping.
Then I discovered two things. One immediately: it doesn't actually block the light fully. No way around it. I actually had two of them, and neither of them blocked it, so I truly believe it's a design issue.
The second is that it doesn't last. After a while, the fabric that is glued on top of the foam starts separating from the foam. Again, this happened to both of them, so I am sure it's a design issue.
I would say: don't buy it.

Not worth it. Didn't even last three months. The eyemask ripped at the seams, even with gentle use. The airplane eyemasks that you get for just flying are more durable than this one.
No makeup smears with these!

I bought this to wear in public, both in meditation groups and in airline travel, because this type of molded mask holds its shape and keeps a good appearance. When I have makeup on, it won't get smudged or smeared with this style mask, and that's a plus when you're at an event and can't check your makeup when you take it off. (Nothing more discouraging to discover after the fact than that you've been walking around with smudgy eyes, right? LOL) I'm very pleased with this purchase, and recommend these especially for public use. I use an old nylon mask for sleeping. These would work well for bedtime, I'm sure, but I prefer my nylon ones to sleep in, for my own nit-picky reasons.

I love this sleep mask. At first glance it seemed cheap and I was disappointed. But I went ahead and tried it anyway. It's extremely comfortable and I like that it doesn't rest against my eyes. It's perfectly shaped to even open your eyes if you like. It is so comfortable and the strap is adjustable so that you don't have to put up with a strap that's to tight or to loose. It's one of the few I don't end up throwing across the room mid sleep.

Works great! The nice feature about this mask that allows it to fit well is that the nose part is cut out. I have had other masks that allow too much light in because there is a piece over the nose. If your nose happens to be bigger than the nose piece it will hold the mask off and let light in. This mask does not do that. It works perfectly and is very comfortable. Highly recommend.
