I was looking for a way to get a large amount of gasoline out of the gas tank on my boat for a restoration project. Tried the pump on a drill, the self start siphon pumps, etc. All failed because the tank is buried in the floor of the boat, so it had to be pumped uphill and the only access was a smallish hole in the top of the tank. This pump worked great! I put it in the tank with the long (and narrow) tube, pumped out 27 gallons in a short period of time and moved the gas to my truck. The trigger control in the handle made it very easy to switch from one can to the next as I filled them up without spilling gas all over my precious boat. I highly recommend this product. Also great for getting gas from a gas can into a car or truck without spilling it all over the side of your vehicle. I will be carrying it on my boat with a 5 gallon can of gas just in case i go stupid and run out of gas on the lake or river. :)

No customer service. Can only snail mail. If the filter is on it doesn't fit in a standard plastic gas can. The sleeve is too big. The filter slid right on. It was -15 out. So I didn't read the instructions to see I should have taken the collar off to remove the filter. So when I did, the prop cover came with it. Ofcourse I didn't see it and when putting it back in the can crushed one of the prop fins. Figured if I called up and cried they'd send me one. Nope, no email or #. They also didn't respond to my Facebook msg. I ordered the cheapest hand pump I could find on ebay (8$) and used the prop (all the same on these). It's my fault. Should have paid attention. Just wanted to put it out there so someone else doesn't screw up. It was stupid of them to put a filter on the thing that doesn't fit in 95% of the cans out there. Be careful!

This is the second one I have bought. It works better than expected. I bought the second because I want to have one for gasoline and one for diesel. Probably not necessary but I am not sure I get all of the fuel out before switching and I do not want to mix them.

This product works well and eliminates the need to lift a heavy five gallon gas can at an awkward angle. I use it to fill my side by side from a large gas can and this has definitely saved me the headache of overfilling, spilling and holding a large five gallon can at the awkward angles needed to fill my side by side. The pump speed is excellent and you can use it with both a 12 volt car battery or a wall plug. I would highly recommend it. The only downside is some fuel remains in the line and must be drained by gravity while holding the pump handle open. Even doing that, I have had residual fuel spill from the bottom portion of the unit. I now keep a small pail next to the gas can after filling my side by side and draining what I can from the pump, I rest the pump side and handle in the empty pail until it drains.

Works as advertised. I am 72 and cant lift five gallon containers easily because of shoulder problems. i keep about 35 gallons of gas on hand for Generator and lawn equipment. Just remember that to drain what ever fluid from unit you must mash leaver as you lift pump from container to allow device to drain back to prevent spillage
