I managed to install this door closer myself without any help! It works WONDERFULLY and my garage entrance no longer bangs against the house!
BE WARNED: The wooden self-drilling screws this product comes with is LONGER than some of the door's thickness. I found out the hard way when the screws poked through to the OTHER SIDE of the door. I had to cut the screws shorter with a grinder.
I now have two ugly holes on my door that I need to patch up and paint over. I'll have to live with it until I have some free time. It's very annoying.

Great closer (so far) installed a few days ago on door from house to garage. Put closer apparatus on garage side so its not visible from inside. East directions. Opening force is not bad and can be adjusted with the force screw. Also, I set the latching force to barely close the door so the wall does not shake when it closes. I just hope it lasts a long time. Also, good product phone support.

I would love to give this door closer the very best of reviews. However I still haven't installed them yet. I ordered them for public rest rooms I am building for a church, however I haven't reached the point in construction where they can be installed.
Update: I have now installed these closers and they are working great. They were very easy to install and the installation information sheet that came with them was easy to understand. I adjusted them to operate for ADA standards and the instructions were right on for adjusting them.
I did a great deal of research on them and they were highly rated by other reviewers. This is the reason that I bought this brand and style.

Doesn’t come with Pinion cap

Seems ok. Doesn't come with pinion cap even though it's pictured and in the instructions. It looks stupid on the door. I had to use it to pass inspection.
