Dont Buy for German Cars.

Doesn't work on VW or Audi and I'm guessing BMW too because they're German. But the problem was that German cars the tail lights Pulsates. So if you have a good multimeter and you set the min and max you can see min is 0v and max is 12v. It jump up and down voltage and doesn't allow the module to work. I just wish some one would had said so before I installed and soldered all my wires. Its fixable all you need is a capacitor. Like a 4.7uf capacitor, just put the short lead on Neg wire to your brake like and the long lead on the positive wire to your brake light. Just remember to install the capacitor before this module. I read it 3 stars because it didn't what it said it was going to do BUT it only works on American and Japanese cars.
Easy install -- superior to earlier models that I have installed.

Works great! Installed on a 2018 Chevy Volt and a 2016 Acura MDX. These are an improvement over ones that I had installed in the past on a Tahoe and a Suburban (better flashing pattern on the new ones). During my daily commute, I can see that those behind me in LA traffic are reacting quickly to the flashing middle brake light bar. I think I will now replace the ones on my Tahoe and Suburban (my kids drive these, so I want them to be as safe as possible).

Highly satisfied with this product. I ordered 6 of these to pair with my 2008 Nissan Maxima and 2005 Nissan Altima. Both my vehicles have factory 3rd brake light leds, so these flashers worked flawlessly with them. My Left and Right tail lights for both cars have factory incandescent 3057/3157 brake light bulbs. These flasher worked with these incandescent bulbs, but I wasn't satisfied. The incandescent bulbs skipped the first cycle of 4 rapid flashes, then continued to function normally with the 4 slow flash cycle. I decided to upgrade my brake lights on both vehicles with SYLVANIA ZEVO 3157 Red LED Bulbs. After quickly swapping the incandescent bulbs to leds these strobe flashers worked flawlessly once again. Super easy to install, I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for 4 rapid flashes, 4 slow, then solid.

I like these flashers. Installed one on a third brake light of a 2006 Acura TSX and the the second module on a 2012 Toyota RAV4 third brake light. I knocked it one star because it doesn't completely turn off the light inbetween flashing. But these will definitely get the attention of the driver behind you.
