I was recently prescribed O2 at night due to a failed home sleep apnea test showed serious hypoxia, this might explain many things including my morning headaches and daily fatigue so I wanted a way to keep an eye on my O2 sats while I wait several months to see a specialist. I had seen some reviews where people questioned the accuracy, truth is even the ones at your doctors office can be off a little in either direction, also just as blood pressure can be different on each arm the same can be said about testing this on different fingers. I have seen mine go as low as 93 (in the morning with O2 off) and as high as 98 (with deep breaths and O2 on.) I believe the device is working well and is close enough to accurate for monitoring changes at home. As for the protective cover, mine is not too loose and not too tight, I would assume that if I were to take it off and put it on several times it might loosen up over time but for now it is not falling off and if it were that would not be a deal breaker for me.

This pulse ox is so excellent to keep on hand! It's accurate for readings and the price is 1/2 if it 1/3 of the price you will pay In the store. This was great to have when RSV was going around. Do yourself a favor and get one to keep on hand for when the time comes and someone needs it. Even came with a cute rubber case for it

cute, screen easily scratched

Love the color and from what I've seen gives very similar numbers to our vital towers at work. Only down side, I carry it in my pocket with pens and a notebook and sadly the screen was scratched the first day I used it! I cut the protective cover in half to keep the solid half over the screen now to prevent further damage but I wouldn't think closed pens should have been able to scratch it in the first place.
