Worked fine with the TV, but did not do well with the DVD player. Could play, pause, stop, fast foward, rewind and eject. but could not skip and could not select other parts of the main menu. So I returned it.

this is a great remote! after ordering i wondered if the metallic plastic would make it look too "cheap" but it does look pretty and sleek. we like the simplicity of the buttons and programming was pretty easy. have both a newer HDTV and a really old DVD player synced up with no issues at all. as other reviewers pointed out the battery door is not very tight but if we don't handle it roughly it seems fine.
