Strong magnet. Used some superglue to glue this on the base of my flashlight so I can see better at work.

You want a strong magnet get one of these. I'm using to hold rocks on the back of my reef tank. I tried a thinner one first they didn't have enough power ended up stacking them up. These are pretty impressive if you stick two of them directly together good luck in getting them apart. Don't let any kids play with these that would be simply stupid. I have used them on to hold things between 1/4 inch and 3/8 acrylic sheets nothing is moving unless I want it to move which is exactly what I wanted. Good stuff packaging and shipping was quick and good. I coated in epoxy for my applications which is under saltwater so far so good no corrosion. When not using I have placed them on my tool box if you don't have an edge to slide them off of you might have an issue getting them off be cautious where you stick these bad boys. They are a bit brittle but as far as I can tell all magnets unless fully coated in rubber are brittle if dropped. I have similar sized ceramic no comparison in magnetic strength.

Not much to say, after all...it is a magnet. I purchased this and several other magnets for perhaps an unusual purpose. I purchased a 98 Old Intrigue for my daughter...the interior lighting does not work and fixing it defied the best mechanic I know. What I did was take this magnet and put it under the head linger between the two front visors/ Then I too a larger, thiner magnet and placed it in the battery compartment of a puck light. The puck light now can be easily removed for putting in fresh batteries...the light can also stick to the side columns if need be.
