The extension piece did not fit securely and was useless. It would just pop off once the pump was turned on. Fortunately, this is being used in a smaller fountain, so it works okay for the purpose.

I'm using it in a small (35 gallon) water feature, it's been fine so far. The only thing I'd change is adding an option of turning the lights off during the day, but that's minor.

I've used several similar setups over the years for my 50 gallon pond. This one is very reasonably priced. It contains a pump, sponge filter, adjustable pole/spray attachments. You can disassemble the pump and filter to clean it every couple weeks. I like that it is elevated on "legs". The different spray features are nice although the "fountain" sprays too far away for my pond. It sprays all the water outside of the pond. It would work better for a larger pond. So i use the other 2 spray attachments. (Bell and trumpet) The led light is nice but I would like if it had an on/off switch. I don't always need the light on. Overall, very happy with this purchase.

The pump worked really well in the beginning, it is now 3 months later and I am having to replace it. I have cleaned the filter many times, and it just doesn't push with a high enough volume.
