Great nostalgic radio

Wanted a radio which could go in the kitchen, bedroom or outdoor patio area for news and music and wanted something new that looked old. Being from Indiana, the Studebaker name caught my attention. The ability to switch from mains power to battery power is a plus during power outages or remote locations. The tuner finds stations that my other stereo cannot. This little radio can work well in any situation or room and looks great. Also liked to learn that this is designed by a privately owned US company nearby in Chicago. If you need a good nostalgic radio which can work anywhere you can't go wrong for the money.

Works well .Only thing I would change is the on/off Volume knob: It would be easier to use if it stuck out more /or if I could figure out a way to adapt it.

This radio was a bit smaller than I anticipated but it does the job and looks cute. Just wanted something to play while I was at work for my dogs and it seems to do that fine it doesn't get a ton of channels however I do not put the antenna up. It gets the basic ones and that's really all I need for them. The speaker is on the radio are not impressive but what do you expect for 20 bucks.

Nice retro styling. Ac/dc operation with permanently attached ac cord. Volume and sound quality adequate for my purposes (bathroom, kitchen).
Cons;
On/off/volume knob is small, tapered and can be difficult to grasp. Fine tuning is difficult but once you're on a strong signal it's ok. Dial indicator isn't easy to see.
