Works great! Previous reviewers had difficulty with selecting NTSC format for the colorbar generator/monitor. I found that I needed to go to the main screen "Video and PZT Control" (center top) /SET, and select NTSC/PAL format from the bottom line. Then I could go to Colorbar/SET and select from NTSC-M 'inandout" to watch input video, or "only out" for colorbar output on the out jack.

This has everything i needed to test and arrange my security cameras. The manual is well written and through. There are easy to use icons on the screen and the monitor is bright enough to use outdoors, plus the ability to power up the camera from the tester is super handy when a headend isn't trimmed out yet. It will also control PTZ functions of cameras. The buttons have a durable feel, and the unit comes encased in a dense rubber jacket for the inevitable fall from a ladder which thankfully didn't occur, only falls from standing height heh. The rechargeable battery is nice, and all of the other little extras included are pretty impressive including all the needed cables.
