bit o honey anyone?

these are hard as a rock, as others have mentioned, the bars need to either be submerged in some warm water or nuked for a few seconds. other option would be to leave them in your car during the hot days. lol they taste like the candy bit o honey if anyone remembers them. they are REALLY chewy, and if you like that sort of thing then go for these. i actually dont mind the taste, i just dislike having to heat these things up.
Does not taste like real food and the stickiness/ chewiness is overwhelming

I wanted to like these bars for the ingredients and quick protein but they tasted terrible. It did not taste like real food. I thought maybe it had stevia though I would not have bought them if they did because I don't like the taste of stevia. I read up on the monk fruit and apparently others have reported that they don't like its aftertaste. Furthermore, they have a very chewy, sticky texture like caramel. I literally stopped chewing it on the side of my bridge because I thought it was going to come out. I would have given it 1 star except that its ingredients are decent.

I LOVE these bars. Yes they are a little oily on the outside when you open them....and it doesn't bother me one bit. :) They taste great and have helped me lose alot of weight. I have 2 toddlers and find myself grabbing meals on the go ALOT. This has been SO much healthier than what I used to eat. This flavor is alot less "chewy" than some of the other flavors. I eat at least 1 per day.
Good But Just One Issue

The ingredients are great. That's not the problem. It's how hard the bars are to chew in the first few minutes. Make sure you don't have any loose teeth, especially your front ones as you try to tear off a piece. After leaving it in my mouth for a couple of minutes, it warms up and softens. Very tasty without being too sweet. There was a notice on the box I received to warm up the bars for 10 seconds but we don't use a microwave.
These have been my fvorite protien bars ever but something was off!

I have written a review for these in the past. They are by far my favorite protein bar. I love that they have nothing artificial and have a very simple ingredient list. I eat one to two of these a day because I try to get my protein in and I'm not a big meat eater. However..the last box of sunflower butter flavored ones i ordered were not good. It tasted as thoughthey had been sightly burned or perhaps the nusts they used were a bit off...even a little musty tasting. Ive eaten 4 of them hoping it was just my imagination or possiby just a bad one in the batch but it's been all of them. Ive debated on sending them back. I reordered a different flavor...hope I don't have the same problem. I would love to hear from Julian bakery
