An easier way to trim nails

I have mixed opinions of this nail trimmer. I love that the clip is 360 degree rotation, which makes it easier to adjust angles to cut left or right. The clear plastic bottom is easy to grip and I don't worry about it slipping out of my hand while clipping. I would prefer the nail trimmer to be a smaller size as it is quite large. My husband and I both use it. He has long and thick hands. He has commented that he would like it to be smaller. Something to take in consideration if you are considering this. It is very sharp. If you have thick nails, this is great. Overall we both like it and use it to trim nails on hands and feet.

I have not used the clippers, they are a gift, but I made sure they turn at different angles with ease. I clipped a piece of soft plastic and they cut very well. I purchased one for someone with Dupuytren contracture and another for a 92 yr old with little strength in the hands, the large handle should allow easy operation. I believe this instrument will help both.

I have reduced feeling in some of my fingers and carpal tunnel in both hands. Surgery in the left hand a year ago (11/16) has not helped probably due to diabetes. I could not trim my fingernails properly until I got this nail trimmer. I can actually hold it in my whole hand and trim my nails like I have never been able to with those tiny clippers we have all used. The small clippers kept slipping out of my fingers. If there were 10 stars I would give 10 stars on this wonderful product. It is still fine after nearly one year of use. For sure, I would recommend this product to anyone. Make sure the cutting portion of the clippers is properly placed before you squeeze or it will cut your skin. The rotating function is great used properly. Slight pressure on the handles (only slight) will keep it from rotating so you can get it onto the nail you are trimming. THIS IS FOR FINGERNAILS, NOT THICK TOENAILS. GET YOURSELF TOENAIL CLIPPERS IF YOU ARE TRIMMING TOE NAILS. THE TOENAIL CLIPPERS ARE MORE HEAVY DUTY.
Good design for people who have difficulty with small clippers

I injured my hand and have trouble squeezing small clippers. These are large enough to hold and are well designed with ridges on the clear handle to keep fingers from slipping and a rotating cutter to get the best angle. Since my need is short term, I am not too concerned with the materials. However, the plastic handles would concern me if I were looking for a long term solution. Also the cutting edge does not seem as sharp as with my small clippers. I think the price is reasonable as long as they last for 3 - 4 months. The description of "Built-in Nail File" that appears on the box is misleading. It's basically a tiny rough spot on one of the handles.

Clip on, clip off ... the cli .... uh, never mind. :-) Decent size clippers for doing either really large hands or more likely your feet. I don't like that the head swivels around so easily - a little more resistance to hold it in place would be nice. This clipper crunches thru my large toenails without a problem and seems fairly sharp. Hopefully that lasts for a while.
