Two useful tools
Anouka•July 11, 2017
These are two useful tools to remove staples and tacks in a fast, safe and simple way. This made the work go faster. It is able to remove upholstery staples, on carpets, staples placed on wooden floors and even staples used in office papers or documents. These are one-handed tools, slides under the clip or tack and unfolds easily. These tools worked very well, safely, quickly and easy in removing everything that I used.
Staple Puller is great, Tack puller not so much.

The staple puller is great. Just slide under and they pop out. Sometimes a little twist is needed, but very easy.
The Tack puller broke after a few tacks. Not so good.

The red "tack remover" is some sort of car mechanics ...
J. Baird•May 22, 2017
The red "tack remover" is some sort of car mechanics tool and not helpful to me at all for upholstery. The other staple remover is ok... I ahve still had to do some shopping locally for something that works to get the staples out of a chair I am redoing.
Not effective
Sarah•May 7, 2017
I purchased these to help with removing old fabric from dining chairs. The yellow tool works nicely about 10 percent of the time. Most often, it is too thick to get between the stapes and the fabric. Even when it does reach under the staple it usually only pulls one end of the staple out and pliers are needed to remove the sharp metal. Instead of this tool I must use another that is thinner and sharper at the tip. It has two flat, sharp prongs on the end of a screwdriver-like base. I found it in the hardware section of my big hardware shop. I use it to pry the staples up. Then I use a pair of pliers to pull the staple out. How I wish this one-step tool actually worked for me!
