This bidet is really great. While it's pricier than a lot of similar products, it's design is FAR superior. It's very small footprint makes it ideal if you're like me and want to keep a low profile. It matches nicely with my Toto toilet and it doesn't interfere with my preexisting lid. No bumpers necessary.

They even add a new water hose (which doesn't quite make sense, as I'd rather have it be a few dollars cheaper since almost everyone already has one). The components seem well made and unlike many competitors, they include a metal T-adaptor for peace of mind.

We've used high-end bidets before and this Genie is simple and effective -- after trying out, we're ordering a second for the other bath.

Installation: As Reviewer Dennis noted, the cost for value is great. Installation was straight forward. Kudos to customer service for their proactive email with an installation video and offer to help troubleshoot if needed (it wasn't). For our small toilet, the original hose fit both the T-adapter and already matched the odd sized water valve we have. Also, I made the mistake of not holding or detaching the float while tightening the connector underneath the tank, which then spun the float and snapped it at the float adjustment screw. Had to replace that, which was my careless error -- sharing to save others the hassle.

Bidet water: For those accustomed to warm water, the cool water can be bracing (thanks to a reviewer on another site for that warning) but can be handled even by our kids. As Reviewer Markus R observed, the water can shoot quite far if unobstructed when testing (or showing the kids how to use it -- practical joke possible by asking them to stand in front of the toilet to get a clear look ;).

Fit: It fit our small round toilet perfectly, well aligned with bowl and seat with no visible gap.

I've thought about getting a bidet for a while but never did. I saw one offered at a very cheap price so I ordered it, I was disappointed everything was plastic and the unit was rather bulky. I went on Amazon and started looking I was impressed by the GenieBidet so I ordered one. I got it in 2 days and it was only $20.00 more than the "cheap" one.
When I got it the first thing I noticed was all the plumbing pieces are metal and a new water line! The unit itself is much smaller and very discreet. It works wonderfully and I love the 2 wash options instead of just one.
I highly recommend the GenieBidet, it's a quality, easily installed unit at a great price!

This is the 3rd bidet I've bought. The other 2 were okay, but something just wasn't right. Then I found the Ellegantz GenieBidet and they got it right. Sleek & flat, comfortable to seat on and use. No hassle installing & it fits snugly to toilet & seat.

The directions which come with this item are basically worthless (i.e., the diagrams are too sparse, too small and the print is way too small for anyone who doesn't have 20/20 vision.). That being said, the item itself performs as promised. We liked it enough to buy a second one for our house !
