I got these after my son's visit to the eye doctor. If you want to protect your little one's eye sight then these are must have for any household with little readers.
The battery lasts through out the night. I just turn it off in the morning. It's safe since it does not emit any heat. However, it's wise to unplug from the charger while in use.

I really like my LED Clip Reading Light from Raniaco. I use it at my desk where it puts out just the right amount of light at night. I generally use it at the brightest level but there are 3 levels that would be great to use as a reading light at night so that you wouldn't disturb someone sleeping beside you. I love that you just touch it to get it to light and to go between dim, brighter and brightest. The neck easily twists to any position you need it to to get the light in the perfect position. I use mine clipped to a rack that holds all my charging cords but it can be used just standing up using the clip stand. This light is rechargeable so no batteries necessary. Honestly, I really haven't found one thing that I don't like about this light.
