Works well, but could use a couple of more features like a pocket to hold the cap when charging the pencil and a pocket to hold the lightning adapter. Other than those omissions, I am pretty pleased with it.
A must have if you have the Apple Pencil!

I am so glad I found this for my apple pencile. I slid it under my key board and up the front of the cover of my keyboard case (I have the Logitech Create keyboard case).
The Apple pencil always felt like an afterthought because none of the keyboarsd or accessories at the Apple store addressed the issue with storing it.properly. Now my pencil sits safe and secure on the front of my iPad Pro keyboard case.
The way I chose to install it on my case makes it possible for me to open my iPad Pro Keybord case without having to remove the pencil holder. Basically I slid it over the keyboard and then up the loose part of the front cover, thus making it easy to use and not have to remove it each time I open up my iPad.

I ordered this and later found the Pencil Pocket for Apple Pencil, by GearCase. This one works fine, but compared to the other, not nearly as well. This is flimsier elastic, and the pencil holder seems to add bulk. The GearCase pencil holder has wider and stronger elastic and the pencil seems more flush with the iPad. if I hadn't had the GearCase version, I would be satisfied with this one. But I'm glad I found the other.

This is for the LARGER IPAD PRO, not the 9.7. I bought this by mistake because I wasn't reading carefully. I can handstitch things so modified it for my use and got it to work fine. It holds the pencil securely and would be 5 stars except for the fact that the strap prevents the keyboard case from closing completely flat. I was not thrilled about that because I didn't want to put unnecessary strain on the internal wiring, so opted not to use it ON the pad. I have however taken to using it on my belt to hold the pencil, so still have found it to be a satisfactory item.
